著名导演阿贝尔·费拉拉日前透露他将拍摄一部关于天主教方济嘉布遣会神父、中文字字受圣伤者、中文字字圣人毕奥神父的传记影片，并选中Shia LaBeouf作为主角。而导演的多年好友Willem Dafoe也会出演一个角色。费拉拉在采访中称，“我们正在准备拍摄一部关于比奥神父的电影，将聚焦一战后的意大利。如今比奥神父已被追认为圣人，并是著名的受圣伤者。而他也身处一段世界史风云变幻的时代，在他成为一位知名的圣人之前也曾是个年轻的僧侣，这个形象将由Shia LaBeouf扮演。”费拉拉称影片将于十月末在意大利的普利亚大区开拍。这是一部比他近年的任何作品都更宏大的影片，也是他策划了数年的心血之作。
