回复 :1955年的邱永漢、1968年的陳舜臣、2015年的王震緒，他們在不同年代的異鄉，以日本語書寫關於台灣、香港、中國為題材的小說，並一舉奪得日本通俗文學最高殿堂「直木賞」的殊榮。本片以20年前留學台灣，醉心研究台灣文學的日籍教授岡崎郁子為經緯，藉由探討三位台裔作家寫的是日本文學或台灣文學為引，交互梳理台灣人與日本人之間的情結糾葛。在那個日本人不承認台灣有文學的年代，岡崎郁子以一個異鄉人的身分，研究二二八文學、並造訪了近百位的台灣作家。導演吳米森再以自己穿梭中國地方、東京、瀨戶內海、龍潭、香港、魁北克等地的旅途，企圖進一步以一種繁複交織的錯亂去再現認同的錯亂。
