爱丽丝·朗丹（维尔日妮·埃菲拉 Virginie Efira 饰）是一个38岁的单亲妈妈，免费她很漂亮而且上进，免费但是在前夫眼里她很无趣，因此她全身心寄情于杂志社的工作。爱丽丝本来有资格成为下一任主编，可是上司和同事纷纷觉得她的形象太老气和刻板，无奈的她心灰意冷。一次坐飞机途 中，她巧遇了刚满20岁的年轻帅小伙巴尔塔扎（皮埃尔·尼内 Pierre Niney 饰），两人在一起的时候被同事看见并误会她搞起了时髦的姐弟恋，因此他们对她的态度也转变了。爱丽丝觉得这个意外是她升职的关键，于是主动开始了勾引巴尔塔扎的计划，本是无心的相遇却变成了愈演愈烈的纠葛。
