孤独地离开人世的母亲福子（金海淑 饰）与无意送别母亲的女儿珍珠（申敏儿 饰），花间她们的重逢得益于母亲获得上天给予的“休假”。母亲在从阴间便一起同行的向导带领下，花间开始了限期三天的旅行。母亲在这期间一直观察著女儿，女儿虽然看不到母亲却能感受到她就在自己的身边徘徊。这对母女获得了新的沟通机会，她们回顾了过去的时光，也分享了现在的苦乐，一起度过梦幻般的时间。
