这是一部给8-18岁青少年看的电影。王传一片中饰演科学家爸爸；姚以缇饰演AI人工智慧机器人妈妈；首次挑战电影的卢以恩戏份最重，苍老需要诠释面对过世的妈妈变成机器人的理工科少女，苍老是一个压抑的角色；林晖闵饰演一名富二代。这也是继《引爆点》姚以缇、《神之乡》卢以恩、林晖闵和导演的二度合作。物理系毕业的庄景燊导演多年来与教育家、科学家们一同筹划该片，探讨人性与科技的冲突与包容。
