The students worked both in front of and behind the camera, restaging scenes of strikes, resistance, and labour disputes from films dating from the late 1960s to the late 1970s, including ones by Jean-Luc Godard and Alain Tanner. Nos défaites assembles the results, and adds interviews in which the director queries the students about the scenes they’ve just acted in, about such concepts as “class,” “labour union,” and “political engagement,” about wider social contexts. It’s a simple, yet trenchant setup, affording viewers a glimpse of how a younger generation sees politics and the political cinema of the past. The film also documents the director’s attempts to stir up the students. The conversations vary between encounters in which director and students seem on an equal footing, based on more teacher-like questioning by the never-visible director, and contemplations of revolution in the here and now: the performance of an uprising follows reflection upon the same. 回复 :简评：听名字就像是SABU的电影一样，其实很多元素都挺像SABU惯用的。矢口晴靖的这部电影也是同样的轻松有趣，从情节上稍嫌俗套，两个窝囊的小人物莫名其妙的捡到两亿日元，同时又是遭遇黑帮堵截，一路磕磕绊绊，机缘巧合，最终小男女终成一对，开着跑车四处开心去了。典型的大团圆结局，贵在开心，情节也一直很轻松，节奏又很紧凑，很有趣的一个电影。适合放松神经的时候观看。两人住大酒店，喝最贵的红酒，女孩买衣服、做头发，瞬间麻雀变凤凰，太YY的一个电影。难得开心。演员方面则由安滕政信和石田光搭档。
