剧情简介
一名正在服刑的重犯在休假時離開監獄，圣诞但沒有準時返回，圣诞此時又發生一名年輕女子遭到謀殺的命案。法醫精神病學家羅曼梅特勒驚覺必須為自己辯護，因為同意重犯休假的報告是他寫的，一切的不利證據指向這位重刑犯，但事實卻是如此嗎？還是另有其不可逆的佈局？
