坂井知季（梶裕贵 配音）是一名初中二年级的学生，坟墓因为在童年时代偶然看到了富士谷要一（樱井孝宏 配音）精彩绝伦的跳水姿势而对这项运动产生了兴趣。进入中学后，坟墓知季加入了学校的跳水队，和他一起挥洒汗水的，有沉默寡言不善言辞的冲津飞沫（中村悠一 配音）、好胜心极强性格非常坦率的大广陵（逢坂良太 配音）和头脑冷静略微有些神经质的丸山礼次（内山昂辉 配音）。一天，队里来了一位名叫麻木夏阳子（名冢佳织 配音）的新教练，她告诉队员么，如果跳水队无法得到参加奥运会的资格的话，就将面临解散的命运。
