在《奇奇与蒂蒂：觅迹救援突击队》电视动画结束30年后，觅迹奇奇成为了一个过着枯燥生活的保险业务员，蒂蒂则动了CGI手术让自己变成时下的3D动画造型，到处参加影迷活动回味着往日的辉煌；就在此时，针对动画人物的绑架事件接二连三的发生，当受害者中出现昔日同伴的名字时，奇奇与蒂蒂阔别多年的联手，试图找出真相与挽回破裂多年的友情。
