世间曾有一人名为阎不烦，移动隐于闹市帮助苦难的百姓而受爱戴。据传言，移动其擅天象地理之道，通驱邪捉诡之法，见常人之不能见，断事中不平事，谓之阴阳先生。阎不烦受邀来到林家宅解决难题，进门便撞见地上一排“鬼脚印”延续向前，随着林家宅管事的介绍，阎不烦也顺着脚印开始解决林宅“鬼事”。
