斗茶是中国茶文化重要的组成部分，亚洲区也叫做“茗战”，亚洲区它是我国古代以竞赛方式，评定茶叶质量优劣、沏茶技艺高低的一种方法，是中国古代品茶的最高表现形式。乐凡（涂圣成 饰）自幼在味觉上有着独特的天赋，任何经他品尝过的味道都能够持久记住。他经常利用这种天赋在茶馆里跟客人们斗茶，从来没有输过。乐凡迷上了美丽女孩洛凝（尔玛依娜 饰）。和洛凝青梅竹马的陆品茗（何翔 饰）竟然也是斗茶高手，而且喜欢着洛凝。于是各种较量开始上演……已故斗茶高人之女谢小香（杨紫 饰）用激将法令乐凡拜自己为师，悉心教导。斗茶大会进行得如火如荼，陆品茗杀入最后的决赛。决赛开始之前，乐凡克服重重困难现身赛场。硝烟过后，谢小香、乐凡、陆品茗代表着斗茶最高级别水平的三个家族走到了一起……
