某日，日本名不见经传的漫画家苍木门（松田龙平 饰）结识了名为恋乃（酒井若菜 饰）的可爱女子，日本巧合的是，恋乃在工作之余，亦是一名同人漫画家。两人以“漫画”为契机成为了无话不谈的好友，并且相约一同去参加某著名二次元机构组织的郊游活动。苍木门知道，这次活动是拉近自己和恋乃之间关系的唯一一次机会，囊中羞涩的苍木门开始为筹集旅费而烦恼起来。困扰的苍木门来到了一间漫画咖啡店打工赚钱，而这间咖啡店的老板是曾经红极一时的少年漫画家球藻田（松尾铃木 饰）。一场误会让苍木门决定离开恋乃，不告而别，为了找到苍木门，恋乃亦来到了漫画咖啡店，命运的齿轮开始转动。
