该剧改编自同名网漫，德国是Olive TV制作的第一部电视剧，德国讲述用自己的装潢灵感改变自己的房间和生活的平凡女性的故事，通过自己的装潢找回原本生活的步调，寻获幸福的故事。刘慧英饰演申恩珠，她原本是一个版面设计师，但因为不擅长处理人际关系，以及理想和现实之间的差距而选择辞职，变成自由职业者之后开始自己装潢房间。金宰荣饰演徐敏硕，他是申恩珠的恋人，也是装潢公司的副代表。
