回复 :本剧以凤城市委为了向全球推广凤城的饮食和旅游文化，特举办了首届“全球华人中华厨王争霸赛”，邀请全球有华人血统的厨师汇聚凤城交流厨艺比赛，争夺“中华厨王”的称号。凤城已经过逝的国宝级大厨师黄师傅有三个徒弟：阿中、阿华、阿仁，他们于15年前，黄师傅过逝后不久便分开了。阿中留在凤城开了一家餐饮店“龙腾山庄”，他秉承师父的遗训“真心实意，真材实料”做人做事；阿华贪恋西方的生活，嫁给一个美国华裔，移居到了美国，不久后却因为性格不合而离婚。阿仁偷渡去了香港，因为黑户的身份，在香港也很难生活，只是靠在小餐馆打零工渡日。分散近15年的师兄（姐）弟，在“全球华人厨王争霸赛”的召唤下又重新一起相聚在凤城，共同研讨当年师父留下的“天下第一菜”的菜谱。但这“天下第一菜”的菜谱看似简单，实质却是很不同寻常，艰奥难懂。众人经过几番曲折之后，定下心来细细思量，才真正领悟了师父的本意，才真正领悟了厨房的终极秘密。
