回复 :田国民的父亲是村里首屈一指的皮影戏签手，父亲过世以后，留下一大堆破烂的皮影找不到人修补，听四伯说有一个很好的皮影匠，却没人知道住在哪里，田国民暗下决心要找到这位皮影匠来修补父亲生前最珍惜的皮影。村长是田国民的岳父，他叫国民去公社找电影放映队回来给村里人放电影，并且叫他找不到就不要回来。国民只好跟着电影放映队挨着村子遛，并对放电影开始产生兴趣。村里又派田国民去学习放电影，放映队长看中了国民，教他使用电影放映机，并且让他成为一名电影放映员。田国民风光地回村放电影，并下决心要成为一名好的电影放映员。田国民开始走村串户地放电影，甚至有村民为了拉他去村里放电影，不惜抢夺他的电影设备。国民克服各种困难，尽职尽责地为乡亲们放电影，风雨无阻。乡里通知田国民，电影公司改制，乡电影放映队的编制撤销了，但是田国民仍表示会继续给村民放电影。固执的田国民把家里的牛卖了，自己成立了“国民电影队”。田国民继续在各个村子间放电影，一次途径一条没有桥的河，水流湍急，田国民过河时不小心，放映设备被水流冲走，田国民拼尽全力，捞到设备才爬上岸。随着农村生活越来越好，看电影的人也越来越少，可田国民依旧默默地走村串户，尽责地放映过时的电影。一天，四伯告诉国民找到了皮影匠的住所，于是国民挑起放电影的设备走了六七十里山路去皮影匠家里请人，没想到皮影匠已经过世多日，皮影匠的孙子说看电影是爷爷生前的愿望，国民就在灵堂前架起电影设备，为皮影匠放了一场电影。时间流逝，各种豪华先进的电影院走进人们的生活，而年老体衰的国民已经不能再走村串户去放电影了，但他还会在家里放电影，坚守他一生做一个好电影放映员的理想。国民的儿子小天在外闯荡多年回到故乡，回想往昔父亲放电影的一幕一幕，不由得感叹:山里面的故事，也像电影一样。
